जब चोरों ने पुलिस से मदद मांगी

किस्सा आमची मुंबई का है।

तीन चोर एक घर में रात को ताला तोड़ कर चोरी के इरादे से घुसे।

मकानवाले थोड़ी देर बाद घर लौटे तो अंदर चोरों को देख कर बाहर से कुंडी लगा दी और हल्ला मचा कर पड़ोसियों को इकट्ठा कर लिया।
बाहर लाठी लिए भीड़ खड़ी देख चोरों के होश उड़ गए और उन्होंने दरवाजे से सोफा सटा कर दरवाजा अंदर से बंद कर लिया।लेकिन भीड़ बढ़ती गई।

जान बचाने के लिए चोरों को एक ही उपाय सूझा।

उनमें से एक ने अपने मोबाइल से पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम को फोन किया और हालत बता कर मदद मांगी। पुलिस वहां पहुंची, लोगों से कानून अपने हाथ में न लेने की अपील की, तब कहीं जाकर चोर बाहर आ सके और पुलिस ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया।
सबक? चोरी करने जाओ तो मोबाइल साथ रखना न भूलना:)

Dad: People this is unacceptable. You have to limit the use of the phone. I do not use this phone, I use the one at the office.

Mum: Same here, I hardly use this home telephone as I use my work telephone

Son: Me too, I never use the home phone. I always use my company mobile

Maid: So Manje what is the problem? We all use our work telephones

Recover the lost administrators password in Windows XP

Slightly more work needed if you lose or forget the Windows XP administrator password.
1.First reboot Windows XP in safe mode by re-starting the computer and pressing F8 repeated as the computer starts up.
2.Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run. In the open box type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes - I have just used quotes to differentiate what you have to type.
3.You will now have access to all the user accounts, including the administrators account and will be able to reset the lost password.
4.Just click the administrators user account, and then click Reset Password.
5.You will need to add a new password in the New password and the Confirm new password boxes, and confirm by clicking OK.
All done, you have recovered the lost adminitrators password!

All you have to do is launch a Windows application like Calculator, and then click the Help button. Under Help, click “Help Topics,” which will bring up a help window. Next, all you have to do is right click on the title bar and select “Jump To URL.” Now you can type in any web address you like, but make sure to include “http://” at the beginning. Basically what you’re looking at is Internet Explorer 6 inside a help window, but this version of the program isn’t quite as smart as IE6. It won’t automatically add the http:// for you.

Sell your achievements and don't just tell your achievements. Yes. You have to sell what you have done in your past and not just simply tell it the the interviewer.
Turn your negatives into positives There are times when you are asked question for which your direct answer would be no. But giving negative answer is not a good idea. For example, if you are asked whether you have done Perl programming in past. And you know that you have not. But instead of saying it straight you can say that you have done shell programming quite well and getting a handle on Perl will not take much time.
Take some initiative in your interview. Its not always good that only your interviewer is asking questions and you are asking. It is also a good thing to ask questions in return. Also, if you have worked quite well on a topic for the interview and the topic didn't even come up in the interview, then make sure you bring the topic somehow by asking some question or sharing some information.
Look confident. It is natural to feel nervous in interview, but remember that you have proved yourself suitable by your resume or cover letter or by a phone interview to the post, that is why you are here for the interview. So be confident. They want to hire you.
Here are some of the common ones:
Dress well and look smart.
Reach the interview venue on time.
Do your research about the company well before interview.
Keep yourself an extra copy of your resume, your references and a blank paper for notes.
